ABOUT THE CLASSES
Lindsay's classes effortlessly combine an educational experience of anatomical alignment and yogic philosophy while creating a meditative container for positive transformation. Expect a healthy challenge in a supportive environment. You will leave class feeling the perfect pairing of vitality and calmness.
Heated Vinyasa Flow
A dynamic, flowing form of yoga that links together breath and movement. These classes have the power to transform your body, revive your spirit and make you feel alive. You will experience a variety of postures, expand on alignment principles, and get sweaty.
Classes begin by integrating your mind to become present and by preparing the body for movement. A series of Sun Salutations warm up the body followed by invigorating Standing Series of various twisting, balancing, and strengthening asanas, with options for more advanced students like arm balances and inversions. Backbends take us into the closing portions of our practice with forward folds and hip focused asanas to unwind and cool down our practice before a meditative and rejuvenating experience in a deep rest.
Classes are warmed to 85 degrees. Bring a towel and water. Appropriate for all-levels. Learn to go with the flow, find your edge, and experience inner harmony.
Based on a combination of Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative practices, these classes focus on deep therapeutic unlocking of the mind and body, and relieving tension to create physical ease. You will experience the perfect combination of movement and stillness.
VINYASA: For the first half of the class, we move through a slow flowing series of yoga asanas focusing on the breath, followed by a series of standing poses that focus on grounding and warming the body. We create energy and vitality in a calm and accessible and not intimidating. YIN: The second half of class where the postures are held for an extended period of time while relaxing your muscles. The nature of this practice targets not just the muscles, but the connective tissues and joints of the body that normally are not afforded much attention in more active styles of yoga.
These classes offer balance, and a therapeutic counterpoint to a more vigorous practice. Appropriate for all-levels.
