Vinyasa Yoga Masterclass: Transitions
Flow with fluidity on your mat.
In this 2-hour workshop we will explore the poses between the poses: transitions. A unique feature of vinyasa yoga is its flowing format - moving from pose to pose in synchronization with your breath. Learn how to successfully navigate through the transitions of your vinyasa yoga practice with power and grace. We will explore, break down, and practice several yoga transitions that appear elusive and make them practical.
No matter the level of your yoga practice, there will be options for everyone to practice each transition. This is an all-levels workshop that is intended for those who have practiced yoga before.
What you can expect:
Learn anatomical actions to create balance and stability
Grow your practice of stepping, jumping, and floating lightly
Smooth out Sun Salutation transitions including moving to Chaturanga, rolling over your toes, and breathing.
Transition with precision from two-feet standing poses to one-foot balance poses (i.e. Crescent Lunge variations to Warrior III variations)
Flow in and out of Crow Pose arm balances with strength
You’ll leave this workshop gracefully surfing the vinyasa wave of your yoga practice. After your insights and hard work on the mat, you’ll feel accomplished, refreshed, and full of new possibilities for your yoga practice.
